Toxic Mineral
Cinnabar
Cinnabar composition is Mercuric sulphide(HgS). Because of its scarlet red colour it is used as pigments and also used in jewellery. But owing to its mercury content it is identified as a toxic to humans.. so nowadays it is not used in jewelry..

EMERALD
Emerald is a Gemstone variety of Beryl. The colour comes from the trace amounts of chromium. This is the birthstone for MAY. Emerald is mined in Egypt, India and Austria since 15th century. Columbia is the largest producers in the world.
